Leadership Team
“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…” Ephesians 4:11-12

Stu & Marnie Boyd: Relational Connection
Stu and Marnie met on a blind date when Stu was in pilot training. Two years later they were married and they shared an Air Force career that lasted 30 years. During that time Marnie developed her business as a successful Mary Kay Director as well as being the “Commander’s Wife.” We fell in love with Utah when we were stationed at Hill and retired here in 1991. Stu joined the staff at Weber State University for ten years and Marnie continued with Mary Kay. Both Marnie and Stu heard a calling to help relationships grow. They first focused on marriage, offering pre-marriage and marriage counseling. This calling expanded to include families and individual relationships. Stu is an ordained Pastor in the Foursquare denomination, a staff Pastor for Crossroads and the Wing Chaplain for Utah Civil Air Patrol. Marnie is a member of the volunteer administrative team at Crossroads. In their “spare time” they manage a small ranch and train horses.
David & Velvet Coberly: Accelerate Sr. Youth
We met at youth camp in Kerrville, Texas at age thirteen. David quite the flirt was quite smitten by this cute blonde in a sundress with strawberries. He said then and still believes that he went after the most beautiful girl at camp. Velvet went home and told her mom and everyone else that she was going to, “marry that guy.”
We kept in touch sporadically over the years mainly by looking for each other at various youth events, but drifted apart for a few years. David joined the Navy, and found himself feeling lonely while on his second nine month cruise. While in Italy he decided to give Velvet a call. She was delighted that he still remembered her number. It was not long after he returned to the states that we were married and found ourselves pulling a U-Haul to Florida. We later settled in Texas; then moved to Utah sixteen years ago on a job transfer with Southwest Airlines.
So, you may ask why youth now? We have worked with youth in various capacities for several years; our heart has always been to create an environment which encourages hot pursuit of the one true, living God. We are filled with excitement, expectancy and a hope that the Lord will send revival to this generation in Utah! May each one encounter His extravagant love and may He lead us into a radical abandonment in Him and passionate worship.
Through the pursuit of multiple ministry venues, our heartbeat is to equip and release these Prince and Princesses into the true fulfillment that only comes from finding and walking in God given purpose and destiny. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings is to search it out. Proverbs 25:2
We feel humbled and blessed to be included with each of you on this amazing journey here at Crossroads and are looking forward to participating in all God has for this ministry!
